At a Glance
A gentle, quietly perceptive scholar who traveled with the party from Goldpine. He observes. He takes notes. He says less than he knows.
Appearance
Pale blue skin with a pearlescent sheen. Frost-tipped hair pulled back neatly. Elegant travel clothes slightly too fine for most places. He never removes his gloves, even to drink tea.
He tilts his head when listening — a small, attentive movement, like he’s tuning into something just below the surface of what’s being said.
Personality
Empathic and soft-spoken, with a groundedness that keeps him from being merely woo-woo. He is genuinely fascinated by his subject — the emotional life of the Feywild, the slow tipping of balance between the two Courts — and that fascination makes him perceptive about people as well as places.
He is faintly distant. He observes more than he participates. He makes notes constantly, even while walking.
His last words to the party before parting at the Silverthread crossroads: pay attention to the city, not just the people. The city.
He is visiting the Observatory regularly. He comes back looking more troubled each time.
Sample Voice
“You carry a great deal of noise with you. Most people do, in a place like this.”
“The emotional weight here is… unusual. Not just the political tension. Something older underneath it.”
“Pay attention to the city. Not just the people. The city.”
