Species: Half-elf Pronouns: She/Her Age: Mid-forties Occupation: Commander, Silverthread City Watch Location: The Tangle — Watch station and patrols Status: Active
At a Glance
Not corrupt. Just overwhelmed. Running double patrols with an understaffed force in a city tightening toward violence.
Appearance
Warm brown skin, dark hair cut short for practicality. Silver armor that needs a polish she hasn’t had time for. She moves like someone always calculating the fastest route between two points. She is not tall. She doesn’t need to be.
Personality
Good at her job in the way people who have been doing a hard job for a long time get good at it — not flashy, just reliably effective and honest about what she can and can’t do. She considers the Watch’s neutrality a professional obligation, not a political choice. Both factions have tried to pressure her. Both have found her unresponsive in a polite-but-absolutely-final way.
She will be useful to the party if they treat her as a professional. She decides which category people fall into quickly and accurately.
Sample Voice
“I have forty-three Watch officers for a city of several thousand, two factions actively trying to use my people as proxies, and a masquerade ball coming. Tell me quickly.”
“Both sides have asked me to do things I won’t do. That’s how I know I’m doing my job correctly.”
“The arguments have changed lately. People aren’t just disagreeing — they’re confused. I don’t have an explanation for that yet. I’d like one.”
